To all of our dear friends and family,
Please take a minute to read our enormous list of thank yous to the right. We arrived home today around 5pm and were instantly overwhelmed by the outpouring of support we came home to. We feel wrapped in the love of those around us. God has put so many wonderful people in our lives to hold us up during this time. For tonight, we have 4 beautiful perfect babies tucked safely in bed...we are so thankful.
Matt and Megan
Dear Megan & Matt,
ReplyDeleteI am so glad you are all home under one roof as a family...cherish these days and try your best not to worry about the days ahead. Although there are so many "unknowns" right now...the one constant and sure thing is the love of your family and friends. Several friends have worked with Sloan to treat their NB kids if you want/need support from people who "know" and understand some of what you are going through. Continue to be brave and strong and lean on others for support---God (and your children) will give you both strength to get through this! Love and prayers from The Della Penna family (Matt, Ellen, Alli & Griffin)
Megan & Matt,
ReplyDeleteI have been trying for days to think of words of strength or wisdom. I find myself speechless but I just want you both to know how much you are loved. Give those babies a squeeze from all of us. Ellie and Grace both looked at the blog with me and said how handsome and brave Brady is. Grace told me that God will keep him safe, don't worry mommy. Be strong my friends. We love you all!!!
Dear Meagan and Matt~
ReplyDeleteEven though we do not personally know one another,I wanted you to know that I am praying for Brady and your entire family!!

Dear Megan & Matt,
ReplyDeleteHow good it is to have Brady at home with your family before you begin the next battle. Sandy Wells, a member of your church, told our news about Brady's battle and asked for prayers. Please know that there are many of us praying for your little guy and for your family. May you remain wrapped within God's arms. I am praying that all will be well soon.
Warm regards,
Mary
Please know that we are praying for Brady and for your whole family.
ReplyDeleteMay God Bless Brady and keep him well.
A friend of mine (Heather) has a friend (Raqel) whose child (Kylie) had neuroblastoma and received treatment in Atlanta and at Sloan Kettering in NYC. Kylie was diagnosed in the fall of 2004 and after her fair share of surgeries, treatments, etc. she's living a cancer free life as a bright kindergartner.
ReplyDeleteRaqel is active in the neuroblastoma community and she and Heather did an awesome job documenting Kylie's journey on http://www.caringbridge.org/ga/kyliescorner/.
