Life is funny, isn’t it?
As a child we all envision what our life will be like someday. We make a plan and get started chasing our dreams…
A few years down the road you suddenly realize that your life looks quite different than how you ever thought it would. Despite it being so different than what you had planned, you feel sure that this is what you are supposed to be doing and this is what God wants for your life. So, you keep plugging along doing the best you can.
As you continue along, you start to face challenges, things don’t seem quite as easy as you thought they’d be, and you wonder if things are really going to work out.
But with child-like faith, you keep trusting in God, knowing that you have a purpose. You begin to see the joy in the journey and you see the blessings all around you!
And at the end of the day you realize that perhaps life doesn’t look the way you thought it would, and things aren’t perfect, but…
You stand in awe of what God has done!
I love this post and I love the pictures!
ReplyDeleteI am in awe everyday of the life that God has provided for us! Who would have known that my life could be so full!
Had I made a list of how I wanted my life to be, I would of sold myself short! Sometimes God's Plan is FAR from what my plan is, but His Will is ALWAYS better!!
Beautiful Meg! I'm going to Melbourne until Monday night, our time, so I'll look forward to checking in on Clan Williams when I return. Stay well and happy :)
ReplyDeleteMeg-Please tell me-with 4 kids the ages that yours are-how do you manage to a.)get the photos that you do and b.)come up with the interpretations that a.)make us think a little deeper and b.) LAUGH OUR HEADS OFF!! Honestly, you are so amazing! This was the greatest! Thank you for making my day...er...late night!! (I'm up late working on my Avon order-what's new?!!)
ReplyDeletePerfect! And what talent for her age.
ReplyDeleteYour spirituality inspires me... and those kids inspire me too. God Bless all of you. Goodluck with the birthday party and your new project as well.
ReplyDeleteLove,
Laurie

That is a great post. The "How did I get here?-This isn't what I had planned.-Isn't it wonderful?-God is so good to know what I wanted and needed even when I didn't." feeling is one I have experienced once every few days since becoming a mother.
ReplyDeleteThanks for the awesome illustration.
XOXO
