The kids even sat in church with us for a few minutes!

The weather, the joy in our hearts, and the precious time with our family all made for a wonderful Easter weekend!

As some may remember, tomorrow is the 1 year anniversary of Brady’s surgery at Memorial Sloan Kettering in NYC. As I reflect I instantly think of the many people who stood by us during that dark time. The hundreds who were praying round the clock, those who were caring for our family while we were gone, and those whose hearts rejoiced with us as we celebrated Brady’s successful surgery. We still are SO thankful for those who have held us up in prayer and done so much to help!

Do you remember the miracle of that day?

Do you remember that Brady was supposed to have a 2-3 week recovery, starting with a 4-5 day stay in the ICU?

Do you remember that he didn’t go to the ICU that first night? I was able to hold him in the recovery unit and his recovery went remarkably well?

Do you remember that we were home 5 days later!!!

Oh I remember all of this and so much more about last April.

There are times in life when some might be able to doubt that God was there, walking right beside them, all along.

But not me…

I have no doubt that God has been there…every step…every day…good times and bad…

Don’t you agree?
