Well, I'm about to make the cupcakes so it must be party time! I've had so much fun planning this party and am so excited that it is finally here! Tomorrow afternoon we will celebrate one year of wonderful with Allie:)
Tonight we had a great visit with Matt's Grandma Vera. We were going to go out to dinner, but decided to stay in and order take out. The kids warmed right up to Grandma even though we only see her a few times a year. Her birthday is Monday so we sang to her and the kids brought her an Oatmeal Cream Pie with a candle in it! Good memories for sure...
I promise to take a ton of pictures tomorrow. I've copied a lot of great party ideas from a blog I've been reading for a while. It is called Creative Party Place and is basically a site where people can submit party ideas from parties they have hosted. It is a lot of fun to read and has really inspired me to make my invitations, decorations, and favors.
Hope you are all having a good weekend!
I came from THAT family and all I can say is wow. You certainly have multiple opportunities to show the power of Christ. I have 4 kids, 3 of them are 2 and under, and I cannot imagine being in your situation. I am praying God's hand to be on Brady and all of you. God bless you and your family! May His grace wash over you today in a special way.

ReplyDeleteYour never cease to amaze me. You are a Mum to FOUR LITTLE people, you juggle PT, medical appointments, winter coughs/colds/snuffles AND you are baking, hosting a party as well as having found time to make invitations, decorations and favours (Australian spelling). You are truly and utterly incredible. Anyone 'normal' would buckle under just a fraction of your 'load'.
Thank you for continuing to inspire me to be a better Mum (Australian spelling....none of this MOM stuff!).
