The Plan is There is No Plan

No news yet on when our appointment will be. I called this afternoon, frustrated because I hadn't heard from them. I got the same old answer...they are working on their schedule still and as soon as they know, we will know. I guess because we are doing the consult and surgery in the same trip, there is a lot more coordination that has to take place. So we wait...

Not too much else going on today. I ran some errands and got the kids some things for Easter. Even though we all won't be together, I want the kids to look their best for church on Easter Sunday morning:)

I'm really hoping to maybe hear from Sloan tomorrow, or else the weekend will be here again. Please continue to pray for our Brady. We are praying that the tumor is stable during this waiting period...

  1. Hey Meg,

Did you ever get the blood level results back you were waiting on--the ones that suggest whether there are fewer neuroblastoma cells? I'll keep praying. Sorry for the frustrating waiting period. Hang in there. It will happen. I'm always impressed by your ability to stay on top of the day-to-day pieces like running errands and buying things for Easter. When things get stressful, and there are lots of "big issues," I really struggle (and usually fail) to manage any of the day to day details. You're doing a terrific job!! :o)

  2. Hi Rosalie: No matter of fact, we didn't get those results. Come to find out the lab messed up and did the test wrong, so the test will have to be completed with a new sample. They wanted us to come to Strong this week to collect urine, I said forget it. We will just wait until we get to Sloan. Thanks for always keeping up with us:) love you,
    Meg

  4. We never cease w/ our prayers. This gives God a little more time to work that's all:) We can all learn so much from you, your strength is amazing! Collin smiled when i told him brady was standing by himself now. he said, why? I said cause we asked god to heal him remember? so cute the way he cares for him and he's never even met him. We give all our love..."I've never seen the righteous forsaken or their seed begging for bread." Not sure where it's found right off hand but it's a comforting one that's for sure!
